“ඩෙංගු උවදුර මැඩලමු” ඩෙංගු උවදුර මැඩලීමේ සහ ඒ පිලිබඳව දැනුවත් කිරීමේ වැඩසටහන "Dengue Uwadura Madalamu" Dengue Preventing Campaign & Awareness Programme

       මේ දින වල පවතින අධික වර්ෂාවත් සමඟ ඩෙංගු වැනි වසංගත පැතිරීමේ අවදානමක් පවතී.ඒ අනුව වූ යෝජනාවක් අනුව සහ සෞඛ්‍ය අමාත්‍යශය මගින් ඩෙංගු මර්ධන සතියක් නම් කිරීම නිමිති කර ගෙන ක්‍රියාත්මක කල මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය සඳහා හොරණ ප්‍රාදේශීය සභාවේද සහයෝගය ලැබුනි.දූමායන යන්ත්‍ර දෙකක්,ට්‍රැක්ටරයක් සහ කම්කරැවන් දෙදෙනෙක් ප්‍රාදේශීය සභාව මගින් ලබා දුනි.මෙහිදී ප්‍රදේශවාසීන් අතර අත්පත්‍රිකා බෙදාදීම,මදුරුවන් බෝ වන ස්ථාන විනාශ කිරීම,එම ස්ථාන දූමායනය සහ මදුරුවන් බෝ විය හැකි තැඹිලි කෝම්බ,සැමන් ටින් ආදිය එක්රැස් කර නිසි ලෙස බැහැර කිරීම සිදුවිය.ප්‍රදේශවාසීන් අතර බෙදාදුන් අත් පත්‍රිකා අප වෙත ලබා දුන්නේ සහෝදර මත්තේගොඩ ලියෝ සමාජය විසිනි.ඔක්තෝබර් 9 වන දින පෙ.ව 9.00 සිට පැවැත්වුනු මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය සඳහා ප්‍රධාන ආරාධිත අමුත්තා ලෙස සිංහ විද්‍යාකීර්ති දිසානායක සහභාගි වූ අතර මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතියේ සභාපතිත්වය ලියෝ සමීර සංජය විසින් දරනු ලැබීය.

       “Dengue Uwadura Madalamu” Dengue prevention & awareness project was a successful project by Leo club of Moragahahena on time. The special thing is after our suggestion to do this project, Ministry of health named a week for the dengue prevention programmes.Delivered leaflets about dengue fever for people donated by Leo club of Mattegoda, destroyed places where mosquitoes breed and displayed a cutout on a moragahahena junction about dengue fever included for this project.Divisional council of Horana gave us a tractor, smoking machine, food, 2 labourers and Lions club moragahahena joined with us.This project was held on 9th October at 9.00am onwards on Moargahahena junction. Lion Widyakeerthi Dissanayake was participated as the chief guest of this project and Leo Sameera Sanjaya organized this project as a project chairman.        

“බෝපත් ඇල්ල සුරකිමු” “Bopath Ella Surakimu”

අප මව් සිංහ සමාජය මගින් නොකඩවා වාර්ෂිකව සංවිධානය කරන බෝපත් ඇල්ල අවට පරිසරය පිරිසිඳු කිරීමේ ව්‍යපෘතිය සඳහා අපහට කෙරුනු ආරාධනාවක් අනුව අපද ඒ සඳහා සහභාගී වීමු.උදෑසන 8.00 ගමන් ආරම්භ කල අපට මධ්‍යහ්න 12.00ට පමන බෝපත් ඇල්ල වෙත ලඟාවීමට හැකිවිය.ව්‍යපෘතිය ආරම්භ කිරීමට පෙර කුඩා රැස්වීමක් පැවැත්විනි.මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා ප්‍රධාන ආරාධිතයා ලෙස උප කැබිනට් ලේකම් සිංහ පාලිත විජේගුණවර්ධන සහභාගීවිය.ඉන් පසු කුඩා කණ්ඩායම් 2කට බෙදා එක් කණ්ඩායමක් පරිසරය රැකගැනීමේ වැදගත්කම සඳහන් පුවරු සවිකිරීමේ නිරත වූ අතර අනෙක්  කණ්ඩායම පිරිසිඳු කිරීම් කටයුතුවල නිරත විය.අවට තිබූ පොලිතීන් උර,ප්ලාස්ටික් බෝතල් විශාල ප්‍රමාණයක් එකතුකර ඉවත් කිරීමට අපට හැකිවිය.සවස 4.00ට පමන අපගේ පා සටහන් පමනක් ඉතිරි කර ආපසු පිටත් වීමු.ඕනෑම දිගු ගමනක ඇරඹුම ඒ සඳහා තබන පළමු පියවර වන නිසා අප රටේ සුන්දරත්වය වර්ධනය කරන මෙවන් ස්ථාන රැකගැනීමට පළමු පියවර අප තැබූ බව එසේ සනිටුහන් කලෙමු.

 Our parent Lions club annually organizes a project of cleaning the surrounding of Bopath Ella as an environmental,continuous – service project. In this term, Leos of Leo club of Moragahahena got the opportunity to join this environmental project from the invitation of President of parent Lions club. According to that, we gathered with Lions and decided how to organize our project. So, at that moment a day was fixed on.On that day we left for the journey with Lions at about 8.00 am. It was an enjoyable journey. We were able to reach Rathnapura at about 12.00 noon. First of all,before starting the project a small gathering was held. At that moment Deputy Cabinet Secretary of District 306 A2,Lion Palitha Gunawardhane participated there as the Chief Guest.Then we started this great environmental project energetically after dividing two small groups. When one of groups installed some notice boards that mentioned small statements about value of preserving Bopath Ella, another group collected polythene, plastics and pieces of glass and such as wastes. They were able to collect considerable amount of wasting materials. So we were very happy that we could
do our great job successfully.With the conclusion of the project everyone had got tired well. So we dined in the water for missing the tiredness and getting the enjoyment on well. Then after got the lunch we left from the place at about 4.00 p.m.with leaving behind only foot prints there.We could achieve our task well because we work hard with the feelings of team spirit and co-operation as well as we could pay people’s attention for the environment through this great job.       

නායකත්ව පුහුණු වැඩමුලුව Leadership Building Programme

නොකඩවා 9වන වරටත් පවත්වනු ලැබූ නායකත්ව පුහුනු වැඩමුලුව 2010/09/22 වන දින මොරගහහේන ලියෝ තරුණ මධ්‍යස්ථානයේදී පැවැත්විනි.මෙවර වැඩමුලුව පවත්වනු ලැබූයේ විශ්‍රාමික කැඩෙට් නිලධාරීවරයෙකු වන ගුණතිලක බණ්ඩා මහතා විසිනි.ඔහු විසින් නායකයෙකු යනු කව‍රෙක්ද,නායකයෙකු සතු ගුණාංග හා හැකියාවන් පිලිබඳව පැහැදිලි කරන ලදි.අපගේ මාසික රැස්වීමට පෙර පවත්වනු ලබන මෙම වැඩසටහන සඳහා මෙවර ලියෝ වරුන් 15ක් පමන සහභාගී විය.

We organized our continuous, Leadership Building programme for Leos on 22nd September  at Leo Youth Centre, Moragahahena.This programme was conducted by former cadet officer Mr.Goonathilaka Banda.Firstly we welcomed him lovingly & after Leo Kalindu invited to him to conduct the programme. At the first he explained who is the Leader & how it affect for developing Leadership qualities, abilities etc.
And then he spoke about the importance of leadership building. Through the various topics he spoke about the leadership.After the programme we awarded a gift & gave a fresh treat him.More than 15 Leos took part for this event & it was a successful project that held in 9th term.
