මොරගහහේන අවට පාසල් වල 5 වසර ශිෂ්‍යත්ව විභාගය සඳහා පෙනී සිටින ළමුන් උදෙසා පෙරහුරු සම්මන්ත්‍රනයක් වර්ෂිකව මොරගහහේන ලියෝ සමාජය සහ සිංහ සමාජය මගින් පවත්වයි.මොරගහහේන මහා විද්‍යාලයෙන් සම්මන්ත්‍රනය පැවැත්වීම සඳහා අවසර ලබාගත් පසු 2010/08/13 දින සම්මන්ත්‍රනය පැවැත්වීමට තීරනය කරන ලදි.මෙම සම්මන්ත්‍රනය ආරම්භ කිරීම සඳහා ප්‍රධාන ආරාධිත අමුත්තා ලෙස සිංහ නිෂාම් ජ්‍යාහ් සිංහයානන්ට මොරගහහේන සිංහ සමාජය විසින් ආරාධනා කරන ලද අතර ඔහු ඒ සඳහා සහභාගී විය.ඊට අමතරව මොරගහහේන මහා විද්‍යාල‍යේ නියෝජ්‍ය විදුහල්පතිතුමා, මොරගහහේන සිංහ සමාජයේ සභාපතිතුමා සහ ලියෝ සමාජයේ සභාපතිතුමා ඇතුළු බොහෝ දෙනෙක් ආරම්භක අවස්ථාව සඳහා සහභාගී විය.
At the present, 5 year scholarship has become very competitive examination among grade 5 students. It is public all urban and rural students. However we saw student who are studying in urban schools has come forward in this examination. As a result of this matter before few years we attempted to do this project on behalf of rural students in our area so that we are able to lead them to sit for the scholarship examination very well. As well as this year with that great expectation we provide for this annual project joining with our parents Lions club.Along with our Lions we informed the principal and teachers of the Moragahahena
Maha Vidyalaya. Then a date was fixed for that. Along with the parent Lions Club we invited Lion Nizam jayah as the chief guest and Mr. Mangala Dharmasri to conduct the seminar.This Program held on the 13th August 2010 at Moragahahena Maha Vidyalaya. Firstly the traditional oil lamp was lightening by Chief Guest Lion Nizam Jayah.Then the vice principal of Moragahahena Maha Vidyalaya , Presidents of Lions Club of Moragahahena & Leo club of Moragahahena took part of this event. A lot of students in Grade 5 from Moragahahena area participated for this seminar.Not only students of Moragahahena M.V there also grade 5 students of Millewa K.V, Olaboduwa M.V, Sugathapala K.V,Pitipana K.V got together for this great occasion. About 150 students and 5 teachers and about 25 parents helped us to make this occasion success.
Mr. Mangala Darmasri who conducts this seminar prepared the model examination paper specially focused on scholarship examination. The paper began at 9.00 am and maintained until 2.00 pm with discussing. So the students were given a small treat at the interval. All financial works were done by Lions Club of Moragahahena.
