“අත්වැල” ශිෂ්‍යත්ව වැඩසටහන “Athwela” Scholarship Programme

        පසුගිය පෙබරවාරි මස කුවේණි වේදිකා නාට්‍ය වේදිකාගත කිරීමේදී අපගේ ප්‍රධාන ඉලක්කයක් වූයේ ප්‍රදේශයේ පාසල් වල ආර්ථික අපහසුතා ඇති සිසුන් සඳහා ශිෂ්‍යත්ව ලබා දීමයි.ඒ අනුව ලියෝ කනීල්ගේ ව්‍යාපෘති සභාපතිත්වයෙන් 2010/10/25 දින හොරණ ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කාර්යාලීය ශ්‍රවනාගාරයේදී ළමුන් 21 දෙනෙක් සඳහා ශිෂ්‍යත්ව ලබා දීම සිදු කෙරිනි.මේ අවස්ථාව සඳහා ප්‍රධාන ආරාධිත අමුත්තා ලෙස ආසන්නතම පෙර දිස්ත්‍රික් සිංහාධිපති සිංහ නිමල් අලුත්ගේ සහ ආරාධිතයින් ලෙස උප දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් ප්‍රියන්ත හපුආරච්චි
මහතා සහ සිංහ වින්සන්ට් ජයවර්ධන සිංහ රංජිත් තිලකරත්න සහභාගී විය.

          The stage drama “Kuweni” fund raising project was organized by Leo club of Moragahahena in leoistic year of 2009/2010.The main purpose of this project start a scholarship programme to the school going children of poor people in the village.So that we tried to active our main purpose in this leoistict year. However Leo Kaneel carried in this project to complete.First of all we informed about “Athwela” scholarship programme to school and selected 22 children in Horana area.Then we were finding sponsors and finally we could find 18 sponsors.We fixed a date on 25th October while we could book the divisional secretariat office auditorium. We gave free transport to the children, their guardians and teachers, who represent from each school from their   school to divisional sec. office.IPDG Lion Nimal Aluthge participated as the chief guest and Assistance Divisional Secretary Mr.Priyantha Hapuarchchi participated as the guest of honor of this occasion. The ceremony was held on 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. While address the gathering IPDG Lion Nimal Aluthge achieved in this project and Leo Club of Moargahahena. Everyone who knew about “Athwela” scholarship programme admired us.
